I received the Dr. Eng. degree in information science from Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan in 1999.
From 1999 to 2004, I was a researcher at IBM Research, Tokyo Research Laboratory.
From 2004 - 2009 (Sept.), I was a lecturer at Kobe University.
I am currently an associate professor at Kobe University.
I received the Awaya award from the Acoustical Society of Japan in 2002, the best paper award from IEEE ICME 2008, and the distinguished paper award from 2009 International Conference on Multimedia, Information Technology and its Applications.
I am a member of the IEEE, the Information Processing Society of Japan, and the Acoustical Society of Japan.
